The RGT-12E reactive power controller from TENSE is a fully automatic and highly accurate controller designed for optimal control of compensation phases in power systems. With digital measurement, intelligent algorithms, and a graphic LCD screen, it ensures a stable power factor, efficient reactive power control, and protection of compensation equipment.

Automatic detection of compensation phases

The controller configures itself after connection:

• Automatically detects the size of connected capacitor steps

• It is also possible to enter parameters manually

• The system continuously monitors the status of each phase

Intelligent switching control

The controller switches phases on and off so that

• A stable power factor is achieved with a minimum number of switchings

• Each step is loaded evenly

• Preference is given to capacitors with lower residual load

• The status of each stage is checked simultaneously (failures, power changes, removal, and reinsertion)

TCR support (Thyristor Controlled Reactor)
