Digital overcurrent relay with 3×3 digit LED display TRM-400

The TRM-400 digital overload relay is designed to protect loads from damage caused by high currents while simultaneously allowing operation control.

Device usage and operating principle

1. Connect the device according to the included wiring diagram.
2. When the wiring is complete, turn on the power supply. After connection, the screen displays the set values for 5 seconds.
3. Use the "A>" controller to set the overload value. The set value is displayed on the left screen.
4. Use the "t" controller to set the delay time. The set value is also displayed on the left screen..

When the device is turned on:

• The relay switches on, the output contact moves to terminal 3, and the OUT indicator lights up.
• If the current exceeds the set overload value (A>), the device starts the countdown of the delay time, at which point the ERR indicator lights up.
• After the set time has elapsed, the relay opens the contact, switches to terminal 1, and the OUT indicator turns off.

The TRM-400 series electronic current relay is designed to automatically disconnect consumers when the maximum allowed currents are exceeded. It has a programmable trip range and the ability to set the trip time and the inverse trip time. There are 3 return-to-"work" modes - MANUAL, SEMI-AUTO, AUTO.

Reset modes

• Manual mode: To reset the device after an overload, you need to press the Reset button. In this mode, the corresponding LED lights up.
• Semi-automatic mode: Allows the device to automatically reset the system three times when an overload occurs, then waits for a manual reset on the next failure. The corresponding LED lights up.
• Automatic mode: The device allows the system to reset automatically each time an overload error occurs. The corresponding LED lights up.

Note: To change the mode, press and hold the SELECT button for 10 seconds. When the mode changes, the corresponding LED lights up.
