Product description

The FKV-14P three-phase phase control relay is designed to protect three-phase electric motors and equipment against critical power supply failures. It provides comprehensive control of phase presence, phase failure, phase jamming, asymmetry (fixed 40%), incorrect phase sequence, and excessive motor winding temperature. Equipped with a neutral conductor and designed for DIN rail mounting.

Operating principle

  • Normal operation: if all three supply voltages are present, the phase sequence is correct, and the winding temperature does not exceed limits, the relay energizes (contacts 15-18 are closed) and the OUT LED lights up.

  • Voltage error or asymmetry: if the voltage of one of the phases deviates by more than 40%, contacts 15-18 open and contacts 15-16 are activated; the OUT LED turns off.

  • Phase sequence error: the relay responds by opening the contacts and turning off the LED OUT.

  • Winding temperature exceeded: the relay switches off the output until the temperature returns to allowed limits.

  • Operation restoration: The relay automatically returns to operating state after parameters normalize.
