TENSE Bistable Electronic Impulse Relay (Start-Stop / Memory Relay), 150-260 V AC

The bistable electronic impulse relay from TENSE (Turkey) allows control of lighting or other devices from any number of locations using push buttons connected in parallel. It is ideal for domestic installations, commercial buildings, and industrial systems where simple pulse control is needed without using conventional staircase or crossbar switches.

Description and features

The relay allows the device to be turned on or off based on a short pulse from a momentary button (bell). An internal bistable mechanism ensures the relay changes state after the button is pressed and remains in that state until the next pulse. This ensures simple and reliable control by one or more controllers in parallel.

A major advantage of this model is the increased safety - there is no need to supply 220/230 V mains voltage to the push button input. A simple short circuit of the button contacts is sufficient, which does not endanger the user nor require electrical wiring at the control point.
