O potenciómetro de uma volta de 10k/5k foi concebido para utilização com conversores de frequência para controlo manual da velocidade do motor ou qualquer outra tarefa de controlo manual. O potenciómetro pode ser instalado em estações de botões de pressão padrão (plástico ou alumínio) ou diretamente no painel de controlo/placa de controlo num orifício de 22 mm de diâmetro. Os fios são ligados com uma junta de parafuso, a secção transversal máxima do fio é de 2,5 mm
