Star-delta circuit breaker - The star-delta timed relays were designed to be used in the initial starting of three-phase motors. When the coil is energized, it switches to star wiring to allow the motor to start. The star remains connected for a certain period of time and then enters standby mode. After the standby period, it allows switching to delta connection. Therefore, it provides efficiency by reducing the current consumed by motors that use high power during startup.
